GENERAL COMMENTS: The debut album of the Swedish DJ, Tim Berg, better known with the nickname Avicii. Just when you think that the big worldwide hit "Wake me up" will be the best on "True" you should prepare yourself for a pleasant surprise since every track of the album has the dynamic to serve as a single. "True" is not a typical dance album, it contains elements of soul, country, rock and electronic music, all of them compiling a unique result that instantly impresses the listener. Not to mention the interesting guest vocalists and musicians like the American soul singer Aloe Blacc, Adam Lambert, guitarist Nile Rodgers and country musician Mac Davis among others and the brilliant cover of Antony & the Johnson's song "Hope there's someone". If not the best album of the year, it's definitely one of the best dance records of 2013!
